In the book that I have currently finished reading it's about a kid who is named Arnold who is in high school he was born with water in his brain which in the book says it is called hydrocephalus. In the book he has a tribe and he is poor and lost the friend who was a dog that he was closest to because he got shot because he was in pain and couldn't afford to pay for his treatment so his dad killed it. His best friend after that was Rowdy who protected him from the people that wanted to hurt him because he was different and really smart. One day when he is in class and uses a geometry textbook he sees his mothers name on it and gets upset and throws it at the teacher Mr.P because he sees how many generations they have been going and doing the same thing forever after he get suspended his teacher Mr P. tells him to go on a school on the other side of town which is the rich side and also white side. Once he does it his best friend punches him in the face and everyone else ignores him. At the end I think that thye all accepted him because he was just trying to make the best of him.
I think that justice was served.I think that justice was served because even though he went through a lot of deaths and hardships he was happy at the end because he got his friend back. I think that justice was served because he was happy in school with people he liked and people actually respected him and accepted that he didn't want to be different he was just really smart and needed to appreciate the chance that he had right in front of him. Another reason for why I think that justice was served was because he even goes to the dance with the girl that he has a huge crush on which is Penelope. He also becomes friends with a guy cause he punches him in the face and all of the sudden they're cool with each other. He also has new friends in his school which for example could be Gordy who was even smarter than him and teaches him new things as he goes along in his life. He also gets to be on the basketball team and loses but then after a rematch he wins! This makes me think that even though you might suffer a lot and your always wondering when it's going to be your turn to be happy i t will come you just have to be patient.
All in all I think that this book was really good and it was telling you things that you are going to need to know as life goes on.
