Living dead girl by: Elizabeth scott

This book is about a girl who is named Kyla and is forced to go by the name of Alice and who is forced to be another girl who she is not. This book is about a man who's name is Ray and robbed her when she was little on a trip and he lied to her telling her that he was going to take her to where her class was because they were watching a movie. Later on that day she was reported missing and was never found and her parents thought she was dead. The guy that took her said that if she left she he would kill her parents and her.Another thing is that she convinces him to let her go to the park so that she can bring him a little girl that did look like Alice so that maybe he would be more interested in her and then she could escape and go back to her life with her parents. Kyla just wanted to be by herself because he forced her to just eat a yogurt a day because he did not want her to gain weight at all. Then as she started going to the park more often the police gave her food and asked her questions.
The relationship that Kyla and Ray had was not good from the start and ended even badder. At first it was badder because he lied to her making her think that he was going to take her to the place were he told her that her classmates were watching a movie but instead he took her away. He id not let her go out unless he was going out with her like for example to the store. It got even badder because Kyla hated him from the start because he threatened her by saying that if she even dared try to leave that he would just figure out where her parents lived and would just kill her and her parents. Then he started telling her that he would make sure that she suffered after her parents died she would give her a very painful death.Through out the whole book Kyla hated ray but to me it seemed like Ray was alone and he didn't like meeting new people even though he seemed like a nice man. Kyla also wanted to escape him throughout the whole book because she hated him for scaring her and mistreating her.
All in all I liked this book a lot and you could clearly tell what she was feeling through out the book you could also tell that she was suffering and that she had been with him for a long time from 8 years old to 15 which is a lot.
